You know… I really do think that Cigarro is going to lose all that cash and be in the same boat as she was before.. it’d be hilarious if she did something really ridiculous like join KISS or buy a mansion and then not afford the taxes on it. XD.. speaking of taxes, wonder if she knows that lotto money comes in portions and it’s heavily taxed by the gov’t BEFORE she gets it?

Wow! I didn’t think that the tax on lotteries would be a concern for the comic but since the comic is read in different parts of the world it appears that every area treats lottery winnings differently.
thomas has correctly pointed out that in Canada lottery winnings aren’t taxed… and while reading my local lottery’s FAQ it seems that they pay out in one lump sum and will only tax if they pay out an annuity (such as their Payday lottery).
What have I gotten myself into?
