Friendbership
Twenty-ten has been a good year for me (so far). My new project still feels pretty daunting but I’m feeling more confident this year than I have in a while. I still have a lot of work to do and I thought I’d take a small break (yet keep the creative momentum going) and draw up a quick comic. I hope you’re having a great year!

I haven’t really gone away. Just haven’t updated much since the strip was retired.

Well, I discovered this comic when it was already retired…
Yesterday I remembered it while talking with a friend, came here just to read the old ones, and for my surprise there was a new update!
Are you planning to ‘un-retire’ it?
And another question that bothers me a lot, where did you get the ‘cigarro’ and ‘cerveja’ names (as they are portuguese words)?
you probably have answered to this question a lot, sorry for that, and sorry for my poor english…
Anyways, Thanks and best regards from Brazil!

Sweet!

My parents originated from Portugal, so I figured, “What better name for a cigarette-smoking rabbit and a beer-drinking goose…”
I have a few ideas that I’ve written down- so I’ll be maintaining a semi-retired status for this comic and dropping a comic every once in a while. RSS is great. A larger project that I’m working on should have the majority of my attention. It’s currently in its nascent stages and I’ll share more when it’s ready.
Thank you for coming back

Hi Tony! I’m so glad Cigarro and Cerveja are back! I’m so glad my sister let me know about your site. I’m definitely going to be a regular around here!
Cheers,

Love the comic, so far at the beginning of 2008 in the archives. One thing I found weird though is that the first page of Utopian Pillage is gone, I couldn’t find it in the archive or on its perma link page =( Is there a redirect or a different link to it?

Such a sad and abrupt ending though x.x I was always the romantic, hoping they’d finally get married or something, seemed like a good set up to let Cigarro admit it the way the story was playing out too. Ah well, hope things are going well atleast, maybe someday you will find the motivation to unretire the story ^^
